Art Deco Holiday Home
The client who should have been an interior designer! Every element of this seaside holiday home was designed and detailed by the client with extraordinary care and sympathy to the period whilst still incorporating modern technological solutions.
CSS worked closely with the client to design the lighting scheme and fittings, all controlled by Lutron Homeworks, with an array of imaginative lighting solutions including coffered ceiling details with cold cathode uplighting and bespoke fittings designed to make the best of artwork and internal design details. Each cathode tube was templated to an exact shape and dimension for a truly stunning and effective result.
A Revox M series multi-room audio solution was installed throughout and incorporated a discreet plasma based cinema in the 1st floor lounge area with wall mounted subwoofer covered in a silk screened fabric and printed with a family picture in Bauhaus style.
CSS provided all telephone, data, IT, door entry and TV services to complement the clients’ remarkable design.
In so many ways one of our favourite projects. All the more enjoyable as it was the latest for one of our longest standing clients.
